Linking Generic S3 with Couchdrop requires an S3 Compatible endpoint URL, Bucket Name, Access Key and a Secret Access Key. Depending on your desired S3 storage provider, locating these will differ.
Once you have an S3 bucket ready to go, navigate to your Couchdrop Portal and navigate to admin then select storage connections in the top navigation menu.
Click the + icon to add a new connector and select S3 Compatible from the dropdown
You will need the following information.
Path | Optional - This is the mount path for where this bucket will sit within your Couchdrop virtual file system. If left blank, it will become the root directory. |
Sub Path |
Optional - Use this if you need to access a sub path/folder within your storage and have this set as your 'root' location within your storage bucket. Once you have saved the storage, click browse storage and navigate to your desired sub path. |
S3 Endpoint URL | Prefix with https:// |
S3 Endpoint Bucket Name | This is the plain name of your S3 bucket, i.e. "Engineering" |
