Connect SharePoint to Couchdrop
To link your SharePoint account, first login to Couchdrop.
Once logged in, select add storage integration or navigate to storage connections under Administration.
Click Add Connection under SharePoint
SharePoint Domain |
Specify your SharePoint domain, i.e. couchdropdemo.sharepoint.com |
SharePoint Document Library URL (optional) |
(Optional) Enter your SharePoint document library URL, it should look like one of the below URLs: # https://XXX.sharepoint.com/Docs%202 |
Connect with SharePoint |
Go through the SharePoint OAuth process to authenticate with Couchdrop |
Test Connection | Test the connection to your storage platform to ensure it is operating as expected |

SharePoint Account Permissions
The SharePoint account must have the below minimum roles to work with Couchdrop.
- Grant access to the user to the site you wish Couchdrop to integrate with
- Application Administrator Role
Otherwise the following provides access to all SharePoint sites:
- SharePoint Administrator
- Application Administrator
- User Administrator Role (if you wish to access users data)
Note: Permissions within the Microsoft ecosystem sometimes takes awhile to apply. It is best to provide adequate time to ensure eventual consistency is not an issue.
Once configured, click Save. You can begin transferring files to and from SharePoint with Couchdrop's SFTP, Automate or Inboxes.
